Motorists are to see a reduction in the prices of all petroleum products effective today.
The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (Petrojam) announced that a litre of 87 and 90 gasoline would be reduced by $1.05.
A litre of 87-octanea and 90 gasoline will be sold $75.09 and $76.53 respectively.
Automotive diesel oil has been reduced by $1.39 and will be sold for $83.18.
A litre of kerosene is reduced by $2.10 and will be sold for $82.72.
The price of cooking gas has been reduced by $2.00 per litre and will sell for $45.09.
Petrojam said the decrease is linked to a drop in the US Gulf prices, as a result of consistent concerns on slowing demand.
As is customary, retailers are to add their respective marks ups to the announced prices.
