The US team has asked for the womens 100 metres race to be reviewed because of a possible false start by one of their athletes.
US Track and Field, Director of Communications Jill Geer says a protest has been filed as to whether Torri Edwards false-started and whether the race should have been called back.
Jamaica’s Team Manager, Ludlow Watts says he is aware of the protest lodged by the US team.
However, he says he is not expecting the appeal to succeed.
