OneLove membership card launched

The tourism ministry announced the launch of the world’s first Destination Loyalty Card.



The OneLove membership card aims to bring tourists to Jamaica by providing them with a VIP service.



The card will also give tourists the ability to redeem points for hotels, attractions, ground transportation and special events.



Deputy Director of Tourism, Zachary Harding, said that in today’s competitive landscape, destinations must seek to differentiate themselves and get closer to the final decision maker.



He added that the launch of the destination loyalty card is Jamaica’s first step towards embracing customer-relationship marketing in tourism.



The first OneLove commemorative card, featuring Olympic Champion Usain Bolt was presented to current Miss World, Zi Lin Zhang, who is also featured on the card.



She is to visit Jamaica next year for the inaugural staging of the World Beach Sprint.
