Nephew stabs uncle

A 21 year old man is now in police custody in connection with the murder of his uncle in Spanish Town, St. Catherine yesterday.



Lloyd Barrett, 56, a higgler of Corletts Avenue, was reportedly stabbed to death following an argument with his sister and his nephew.



The police said during the argument the young man threatened to kill the two.



Barrett’s sister is said to have left the house after the argument but returned around 3 p.m. to find her brother’s body with several stab wounds.



Barrett’s nephew was later arrested.
