The National Works Agency (NWA) said it is now carrying out more maintenance in the Eastern end of the island as part of its Flood Mitigation Programme.
The NWA said several roadways in the parishes of Portland, St. Thomas, St. Mary and St. Ann would be patched.
The programme, valued at $15.22 million, will also see the cleaning of drains and the removal on bush embankments in St. Mary and St. Ann.
The programme is to be completed in six weeks.
