The Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA) said it would be closing its offices today as a mark of recognition for Jamaica’s Olympic team.

The JTA said it is giving particular recognition to the athletes who started their athletic journey through its annual primary schools’ championship.

JTA Secretary General, Dr. Adolph Cameron, said the association is happy that it helped to shape the lives and careers of some of Jamaica’s athletes.

The JTA will reopen its offices on Monday
