Clarendon murders soar

Two men were shot dead by gunmen at Pen Road, York Town, Clarendon last evening.



The dead men have been identified as Orville Thompson, 49, otherwise called “Eastman”, and Jameil Callaghan, 33, otherwise called “Wanga”, both of York Town.



Police reports are that about 6.00 p.m., Thompson and Callaghan were walking along Pen Road in the community when three men armed with guns approached them.



Both men ran and were chased by the gunmen who shot them several times before escaping in the area.



The injured men were taken to the May Pen Hospital where they were pronounced dead.



The May Pen Police are investigating.
