Two held for Linstead murder

Two men are now in police custody in connection with the murder of a woman in Linstead, St. Catherine over the weekend.



The body of Shelly Ann Harvey, 22, of Road House, Charlemont was reportedly found with stab wounds at her house around 10 p.m. Sunday night.



The police said the woman’s throat was also slashed.



Her boyfriend and another man have since been arrested.



It is reported that around 10 p.m. on Sunday night, the woman was found dead by her boyfriend in a bar, which is located at the front of the house.



The police have ruled out robbery as a motive for the killing, as there was no item missing from the house or the bar.



The police said another man, who was employed to the bar is also in custody.



They said he was found with several bite wounds he received from dogs on the premises.



No charges have been laid.
