Imani Duncan resigns from JMMB

Soon-to-be appointed senator Imani Duncan-Price has resigned as Group Marketing Manager of JMMB.
Duncan-Price, the daughter of re-elected Eastern Hanover Member of Parliament, DK Duncan, is to be sworn in tomorrow as a Senator.
In a statement this afternoon, JMMB said Duncan-Price had acceded to the request to serve as a Government Senator given that this is in line with her long-term goal to enable the development and growth of Jamaica through a healthy and vibrant political system.
Duncan’s resignation takes effect on May 11, 2012.
JMMB says this will enable the company to find an appropriate replacement and facilitate a smooth transition.
