Bananas suffer loss

Agriculture Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton is reporting that the banana sector in the parishes of St. Thomas, St. Mary and Portland suffered approximately 80 percent damage in the wake of the storm.



Dr. Tufton says while the domestic market will not be severely affected the exports are likely to be devastated.
