St. Andrew businessman 32 year old Steven Causewell, who is charged with the murder of his 28 year old ex-girlfriend, Nordia Mitchell is scheduled to return to court on November 6.

At that time the preliminary hearing into the case will begin.

Causwell, who was granted bail in the sum of $3 million with sureties, had his bail extended when he appeared in court yesterday.

Last Month, bail was granted by Supreme Court Judge Marjorie Cole Smith, after Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown denied Causewell’s bail application and suggested that it be made in the Supreme Court.

It was first reported that Mitchell died after she fell from her Oaklands Apartments, Constant Spring, St. Andrew on July 16.

An autopsy report, which was presented to the court revealed that the injuries to the body were not consistent with Mitchell falling from a building.

The report also stated that the injuries were consistent with Mitchell being beaten.
