Early closure for May Pen revenue centre

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has advised that effective today, May 7 the May Pen revenue service centre and its customer care centre will be closed to the public at 3:00 p.m. daily until further notice.



The early closure has become necessary due to the discomfort being experienced by customers and staff as a result of the central air conditioning system malfunctioning, said the TAJ in a release.



TAJ said it is working to have the matter addressed.



It has apologised for the inconvenience and advised that individuals and companies may file and make payments online through the Jamaica tax portal at www.jamaicatax-online.gov.jm or at any of other tax office island-wide.
