Dance Hall artiste Moses Davis popularly known as “Beenie Man” is to return to court today for the continuation of his case in the tax court.

Resident Magistrate Owen Parkin yesterday put off the case after Davis was late for court.

Davis’ attorneys informed the court that the artiste would have been an hour late however RM Parkin said he would not proceed with the hearing until today.

The Tax Department is claiming that Beenie Man owes $47m in taxes and penalties.

However he has claimed that it was the responsibility of his management team Shocking Vibes to undertake tax payments.

The artiste was arrested last October after he failed to appear before the tax court to answer the charges.
