Golding meets World Bank President

The Prime Minister Bruce Golding is to meet with World Bank President, Robert Zoellick, today.



Yesterday, Mr. Golding and a team of Jamaican officials met with the president of the Inter-American Development Bank Luis Alberto Moreno in Washington D.C.



The talks centred on identifying funding to repair infrastructure damage in Jamaica during the recent passage of Tropical Storm Gustav.



Director General of the Planning Institute of Jamaica, Dr Wesley Hughes, Dr. Richard Bernal, Alternate Director, Caribbean Inter-American Development Bank also met with Mr. Moreno.



Mr. Golding is scheduled to host a media briefing and a meeting with the Jamaican Diaspora before returning to the island on Thursday.
