The National Works Agency (NWA) is to carry out major road and drainage improvement works along sections of the main road from Adelphi to Kent in St. James.

The NWA said it will be spending five million dollars to fix 10,000 square metres of roadway.

Community Relation Officer for the western region, Janel Ricketts said the project will also involve drainage improvement and bushing of verges.

Ms. Ricketts said the works are slated to be completed within the next six weeks.
