The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that repairs to the Jack’s Hill pipeline in St. Andrew have been completed.
The pipeline was significantly damaged during the passage of Tropical Storm Gustav in August, and also by recent heavy rains in sections of the Corporate Area.
Communications Manager at the NWC, Charles Buchanan, said water supply in upper Jack’s Hill has been restored.
He said some residents are still to receive water as several leaks have been discovered on the pipeline.
Mr. Buchanan said water should be restored to all areas served by the Jack’s Hill pipeline by the end of today.
