Motorists will again pay less for gasoline when they go to the pumps today.

The price of a litre of 87 and 90-octane gasoline has been cut by $1.75, but automotive diesel oil has been increased by 11c per litre.

Petrojam says product prices in the US market retreated in reaction to failure of the US Congress to approve a proposed financial bail out package.

One litre of unleaded 87 is to be sold for $69.98 cents while a litre of 90-octane gasoline is to be sold for $71.42.

Automotive diesel oil is to be sold for $79.80 per litre.

The price of Kerosene goes down by $2.10 and is to be sold for $77.92.

Almost $3.00 will be taken off a litre of cooking gas, which is to be sold for $34.10.

As is customary, retailers are to add their respective mark ups to the announced prices.
