Baugh off to Brazil

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr Ken Baugh is now in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he’s attending a special preparatory meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Caribbean and Latin American region.
The Minister will be discussing issues relevant to the upcoming Summit of Latin American and Caribbean leaders on Integration and Development.
The Summit will run from December 16-17 in Brazil.
The summit is an initiative of Brazil’s President Lula da Silva.
At today’s preparatory meeting, the Foreign Ministers will deliberate on aspects of the Summit such as the format, agenda and the anticipated outcome, as they seek to enhance the region’s development.
