Clarendon businesswoman killed

A 48 year old businesswoman was shot dead by a gunman at Mitchell Town, Clarendon last night.



She is Icilda Swack of Mitchell Town.



The police report that around 9.15 p.m., Ms. Swack was standing in front of her shop when she was approached by a man armed with a handgun.



She ran and was chased by the man, who opened fire hitting her.



The police were called and she was taken to the Lionel Town Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
