NWA road patching

The National Works Agency, NWA says its now in day-two of a road patching programme as it seeks to rehabilitate the country’s infrastructure following the passage of Tropical Storm Gustav in August.



The programme targets 2,400 metres of roadway in Kingston and rural St. Andrew as well as 1,200 square metres in St. Catherine.



Fifteen roadways have been slated for patching including Upper Carmel Avenue in Cherry Gardens, Norman Crescent, off Mountain Avenue as well as Lexington Avenue in Vineyard Town.



The Old Stony Hill Road and the Papine to Red Light Main Road in rural St. Andrew will also get attention.



The Hellshire Main Road and sections of the Old Harbour Square in St. Catherine are also slated for patching.
