Gas prices down again in JA
For the third consecutive week motorists are to see a drop in the price of gasoline when they go to the pumps tomorrow.
The state owned oil refinery has announced that the prices of unleaded 87 and 90 octane will be reduced by $2.89 cents.
It will be a much bigger break for users of automotive diesel oil as it will cost almost $4 less to purchase one litre.
Petrojam says the reduction in prices is as a result of fears of an economic slowdown in the US market.
One litre of unleaded 87 octane is to be sold for $67 .09 cents while a litre of unleaded 90 is to sell for $68.53 cents.
$3.50 cents is to be taken off a litre of automotive diesel oil which is to be sold for $76.30 cents.
Kerosene has been reduced by two dollars and ten cents to sell for $75.39 cents while $2.55 cents has been taken off a litre of cooking gas which is to be sold for $31.55 cents.
As is customary, retailers are to add their respective mark ups to the announced prices.
