$90m cocaine seizure

The narcotics police have seized 300 pounds of cocaine from one of three containers from Guyana.



The drug has a value of more than $90 million.



The police said the seizure was made last night after narcotics agents became suspicious of three containers said to contain rice which were shipped to a business place in Kingston.



Head of the Narcotics Division Senior Superintendent Carlton Wilson has confirmed the seizure.



No arrests have yet been made.
