Soldier killed, two others injured

The police are yet released the identity of a senior officer in the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) who was killed yesterday in a motor vehicle accident in St Andrew.
The captain was among three members of the JDF who were travelling in a jeep when the vehicle collided with a Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus.
The other two injured soldiers have been admitted to hospital.
One is said to be in critical condition.
The police say the accident occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. yesterday along Washington Boulevard, near Six Miles.
According to the police, the driver of the jeep lost control of the vehicle, which careened into the path of the bus.
