Woman killed in crash

The driver of a motorcar is facing a charge of manslaughter after the vehicle he was operating mowed down three people at a bus stop in Portmore, St Catherine yesterday.



Facing the manslaughter charge is Dwight Knight,19, of Ebanks Close, Newlands, in the parish.



The woman who was killed in the incident has been identified as Andrea DeCambre, 39, a vendor of Daytona, Greater Portmore.



A two-year-old girl and an 18-year old woman have been admitted to hospital in serious condition.



The police say at 11: 30 yesterday morning Knight was driving a Toyota Corsa motorcar along the Braeton Parkway main road when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a bus stop at Daytona.
