The energy minister Clive Mullings has again expressed disappointment at the number of failures which have recently occurred in the operations at the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS).

Mr Mullings has called for greater communication between JPS and its customers.

According to the energy minister the maintenance operations of the company are not performing as expected.

During a meeting with a team from Marubeni yesterday, Mr Mullings said the parent company must make every effort to increase the efficiency of the company.

Meanwhile, head of the Marubeni delegation, Seiji Kawamaru, said a team will be meeting with senior managers at JPS to discuss the implementation of solutions to the problems at the company.
