Nephew stabs uncle to death

The police in Westmoreland are still to locate Richardo Rodney, 20, who is accused of stabbing his uncle to death during a dispute in Leamington, Westmoreland yesterday afternoon.



Kenroy Ireland, 39, reportedly died shortly after 4 p.m., after Rodney used a knife to stab him.



Rodney is said to have fled the scene after the incident.



In another incident, the woman taken into custody for yesterday’s stabbing death of her common-law husband is to be charged.



Swelette Phipps, 28, and 25 year old Junior Walters were reportedly in an argument around 7 a.m. yesterday, when a knife was used to stab the man in the neck.



He reportedly died while being treated in hospital.



The St. Mary police said legal services have still not been secured for the woman.
