Truck driver killed

A 50 year old truck driver who the police say was employed to a prominent furniture store was shot dead by gunmen last evening in St Catherine.
Steven Bartley of Falmouth East, Waterford in Portmore was reportedly shot after making a delivery at Kingsland District in Kitson Town.
The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reports that around 7.30 p.m. Bartley and his assistant made a delivery in the community of Kingsland.
On their way out, three men on foot, all armed with guns ordered them out of the vehicle.
A struggle reportedly developed between Bartley and the men and they opened fire hitting him.
His assistant escaped unhurt.
Bartley was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
