Portmore rape suspect name released

The police have released the name of the suspect being sought in connection with the October 19 rape of a 12 year old girl from Portmore, St. Catherine.
Deputy Commissioner Shields, said the suspect Wayne McKenzie, 36, is also from Portmore.
He said McKenzie drives a white Toyota Town Ace motorcar registered 4619 EJ.
McKenzie is tall, slim built and has a tattoo of a whale on his shoulder.
DCP Shields said already the police have valuable evidence, including clues from the crime scene.
The crime chief said he is not satisfied with the manner in which the matter was initially investigated once it was reported to the police.
The Director of Communication for the Police Force, Karl Angell, said police Commissioner Hardley Lewin has launched a probe into the matter.
