Teen body found at sea

The body of a 19 year old was found yesterday floating in the sea off the Palisadoes coast in Kingston.



He has been identified as Orlando Chambers of Bedward Gardens, Kingston 7.



The police said around 1.20 p.m. on Saturday, Chambers was reportedly crossing the Hope River in the Bedward Gardens community when he was washed away by strong currents.



A resident, who went fishing, discovered his body yesterday afternoon.



Meanwhile, the police in St. Ann are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of another 19 year old in the parish yesterday.



He is Derron Dunn of New Ground.



The police said Dunn was killed during a dispute with another man from Spicy Grove also in the parish.



According to the police around 4 a.m. yesterday morning, the two men were involved in a dispute during which a knife was used to stab Dunn several times.



He was pronounced dead at the St. Ann’s Bay hospital.



The other man has since been taken into custody.
