Motorists are to see a slight increase in the prices of petroleum products when they go to the pumps today.

The state-owned oil refinery Petrojam has announced that unleaded 87 and 90-octane gasoline, as well as E10, will be increased by 11c per litre.

Petrojam says the prices are due to a combination of movement in US Gulf reference prices and devaluation of the Jamaican dollar in relation to the US dollar.

One litre of unleaded 87-octane gasoline is to be sold for $55.69 and a litre of unleaded 90-octane gasoline for $57.13.

A litre of E10 is to sell for $53.66.

Automotive diesel oil goes up by 75c and is to sell for $66.68 per litre.

Eighty-two cents has been added to a litre of kerosene, which is to be sold for $65.25.

Cooking gas has been reduced by 27c per litre and is to sell for $23.26.

As is customary, retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the announced prices.
