Ewarton road closed today

The roadway between Ewarton in St Catherine and Faith’s Pen in St Ann will be closed today and tomorrow.
The National Works Agency, NWA says the roadway will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to facilitate construction work on the Mount Rosser leg of Highway 2000.
The NWA says motorists travelling to Moneague in St Ann towards Ewarton in St Catherine should use the alternative route through the communities of Moneague, Grierfield, Camperdown, Thydixon, and Worthy Park.
The reverse pertains route to motorists travelling from Ewarton, towards Moneague.
The NWA says motorists should obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
The NWA is also warning motorists that the Papine to Bull Bay main road will remain closed as a result of dislocated boulders along the roadway.
Mr Shaw says motorists should use the alternative route at Bull Bay, through Harbour View to Papine, while it continues investigations into the cause of the falling boulders.
