The woman who was jointly charged with three men for the murder of Assistant Police Commissioner, Gilbert Kameka has been sentenced to three years imprisonment.

However the sentence will be suspended for three years.

Tina Gaye McGowan, 18, of Mount Industry, St. Andrew had pleaded guilty to the charge of conspiracy to murder.

The guilty plea came after a murder charge against her was withdrawn.

Three men are still facing murder charges in connection with ACP Kameka’s death.

They are 26 year old Massimassa Adams of Industry Village, 18 year old Kemar Dawson of Standpipe and 21 year old Rohan Townsend, of Irish Town, all in St. Andrew.

ACP Kameka was shot dead on November 29 last year in an alleged robbery at a house in Irish Town.
