The three men charged in connection with the murder of assistant commissioner of police Gilbert Kameka are due back in court today.

The men are facing charges of murder.

They are 26-year-old Massimassa Adams of Industry Village, 18-year-old Kemar Dawson of Standpipe and 21-year-old Rohan Townsend, of Irish Town, all in St. Andrew.

ACP Kameka was shot dead on November 29 last year in an alleged robbery at a house in Irish Town.

Meanwhile, a woman who was jointly charged with the three was yesterday sentenced to three years imprisonment.

However, the sentence will be suspended for three years.

Tina Gaye McGowan will only serve the sentence if she’s convicted of an offence during the three-year period.

McGowan who is from Mount Industry in St. Andrew had pleaded guilty to the charge of conspiracy to rob.

The murder charge against her was withdrawn.
