Crane Ridge kitchen gutted

Fire fighters in St Ann are yet to determine the cause of a fire, which damaged a section of the Crane Ridge Resort in Ocho Rios, last night.
The fire destroyed the hotel’s kitchen.
It’s reported that shortly before 8:00 p.m., a worker saw smoke coming from a section of the kitchen and raised an alarm.
Attempts by members of staff to use a fire extinguisher to put out the blaze were unsuccessful as the fire quickly spread and engulfed the cooking area.
One unit from the nearby Ocho Rios fire station and another from the St Ann’s Bay station put out the blaze.
No one was reported injured.
