Carnal abuse cop in court

Police Constable Rushon Hamilton who is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl is to appear in the Home Circuit Court on Friday.
Hamilton who was stationed at the Harbour View police station is facing charges of carnal abuse and indecent assault.
He appeared in the Home Circuit Court today and was remanded until Friday when the case will be mentioned.
Hamilton appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate\'s Court on Monday and the case was sent to the Home Circuit Court for trial.
The complainant was abducted from her home in Harbour View; St. Andrew two weeks after the matter was reported to the police in October.
She was abducted while standing at her gate and has not been seen since.
The police are conducting investigations into the disappearance of the girl.
