Haiti to join CSME

Haiti is preparing to join the Caribbean Community’s Single Market and Economy (CSME).
Officials say the move is expected to open up Haiti\'s 15-million consumer market to CARICOM’s trading arrangement in goods.
Haiti delayed joining the CSME after CARICOM refused to work on its CSME application until the country had held free and fair elections in 2006.
