Policeman remanded

A policeman charged with carnal abuse was again remanded when he appeared before the Home Circuit Court in Kingston yesterday.
Constable Rushon Hamilton, of the Harbour View Police Station is facing charges of carnal abuse, indecent assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 14 year old girl on October 4.
He is expected back in court on January 9.
The complainant in the case was abducted from her house in Harbour View, St. Andrew two weeks after the matter was reported to the police in October.
She was abducted while standing at her gate and has not been seen since.
The police are continuing their investigations into the disappearance of the girl.
