Head of the Peace Management Initiative (PMI), Bishop Herro Blair, says the establishment of the National Transformation Programme will not negatively affect the work of the PMI.
Instead, Bishop Blair is of the view that the National Transformation Programme can help to enhance the work of the PMI.
According to Bishop Blair, the objectives and mandate of the PMI is different from that of the National Transformation Programme.
The two groups can work in unity to build better communities, he added.
Bishop Blair wants the National Transformation Programme to develop adequate social intervention programmes, which will help young people to be more productive.
The National Transformation Programme is to be headed by Rev Al Miller.
