Three killed in Kingston

The St Andrew South Police are now looking for three men in connection with this morning’s triple murder on Varma Road in Waterhouse.

The police say about 2:00 a.m. gunmen invaded a house at 5 Varma Road and killed a pregnant woman and two men.

They are Antoinette Gooden 25, Romeo Worges 32, of Varma Road and Peter Francis, 18 of Wellworth Avenue.

The police say Romeo Worges was killed inside the house, while the pregnant woman and the 18-year-old youth were taken outside and shot repeatedly.

The Commanding Officer for the St Andrew South Police Division, Senior Superintendent Donovan Graham says this morning’s triple murder was in reprisal for a double murder in Waterhouse in October.

SSP Graham also says an ongoing feud between warring gangs over an illegal gun have contributed to the flare up of violence in the community.

He says the police will continue to maintain a strong presence in Waterhouse until calm is restored.
