New Years Eve robbers to be questioned
The two men who held up and robbed a Supreme Ventures outlet in St Ann’s Bay, on News Year’s Eve are to be questioned next week.
They have since been charged with robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.
However the police have not released their names, as they are to face an identification parade to find out whether they were involved in any other robberies or criminal acts.
The police say shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday the men went to the Supreme Ventures outlet where one of them pulled a gun and demanded money from the cashier.
After resisting the robbery attempt, the cashier reportedly gave the men close to $24,000.
The police who were alerted held the two robbers before they left the premises.
They say the money and a point 3.8 revolver loaded with four cartridges were taken from them.
