Canada Job Scam

The Jamaican High Commission in Canada said a scam has been running in local newspapers that Mont Royal Hotel in Montreal Canada, is recruiting Jamaicans.



According to a release from the High Commission, the hotel has confirmed that this is a scam, as it has placed no such advertisement.



The hotel has reported the matter to the Canadian police.



The advertisements were placed in the newspapers between September last year and earlier this month.



The Canadian High Commission in Kingston is also aware of the scam.
