Women killed in Mobay
Investigators in Montego Bay St. James are yet to establish a motive for today’s killing of two women in the parish.
The dead women have been identified as Toni Noble, 25 and Alethia Smith, 29, both of Lilliput in St. James.
Both women were shot in the mouth.
Their bodies were found on the premises of the Home Value Hardware at Providence Industrial Estate near Flankers in Monetgo Bay about 2: 30 p.m.
Smith was reportedly employed to the hardware.
Investigators are also trying to determine the circumstances under which the women were killed.
Seven persons have been murdered in the parish since the start of the year.
In another incident a 23-year-old woman was shot dead and her common law husband shot and injured at White Wing Walk, Kingston this morning.
She is Lena Clarke, secretary of White Wing Walk, while injured is a 32-year-old businessman of Potosi Avenue, Kingston 20.
The police say about 1 o clock this morning the couple were attached at their home when a gunman kicked open the front door and opened fire.
The two sustained gunshot wounds.
Clarke died on the spot while the injured man has been admitted to hospital.
