The police High command will today be launching a hotline number geared at reducing corruption in the police force.
The number, 1-800-corrupt, was first announced by the National Security Minister, Colonel Trevor MacMillan in a national broadcast last month.
The number is expected to provide citizens with a secure way of reporting rogue cops.
The Anti Corruption Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force is set to launch the toll free number at the Police Officers’ Club at 1p.m.
