Five employees of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), who are on fraud charges, are to appear in the Corporate Area Criminal Court today.
They are Andrew Davis, Latoya Scarlett Samuels, Janice Henry, Marie Young and Tamara Walsh.
The five, who are cashiers with the IRD were arrested and charged last year following investigations into motor vehicle licencing fees irregularities.
They are charged with conspiracy to defraud.
It is alleged that in separate incidents between January 2006 and December 2007 the cashiers used their position to manipulate motor vehicle licensing fees transactions so as to defraud revenue.
The five are among several other employees arrested and charged for being involved in corrupted activities at the tax department.
