Gas prices on the rise
Gas prices are to go up by almost $1 today.
The state owned oil refinery Petrojam says the prices for unleaded 87, 90 and E 10 will be increased by 95c.
However, automotive diesel oil is to go down by 50c.
One litre of unleaded 87 is to be sold for $49.19, while a litre of unleaded 90 is to cost $47.16.
The price for a litre of E 10 gasoline is $47.16 while a litre of automotive diesel oil is to sell for $54.95.
Ninety-seven cents has been taken off a litre of kerosene, which is to be sold for $52.72.
The price for a litre of cooking gas has been increased by 82c and is to be sold for $21.49.
Petrojam says US Gulf prices for gasoline increased over the past week, while the price of kerosene and diesel oil declined.
As is customary, retailers are to add their mark ups to the announced prices.
