Flooding closes Salt Marsh school

The Salt Marsh All Age School in Trelawny is closed today because of flooding.



A nearby gully has overflowed its banks due to heavy rainfall in the parish.



The school’s principal, Mervin Sinclair believes that proper maintenance of the drain can solve the problem.



He has called for immediate action by the local government authorities in the parish to clean the drains.
