The Grants Pen police have launched intensive investigations into the shooting deaths of two men and the injuring of a woman in separate incidents in the area yesterday.

A 40-year-old woman of a Kingston 8 address was also injured in one of the incidents.

Police reports are that about 11:45 a.m., Gibson went to Oddman Lane to collect rent when two men armed with guns pounced upon him.

The gunmen opened fire killing him on the spot.

The second incident took place about 12:50 p.m. at Flagman Avenue where McKenzie and a 40-year-old woman were among a group of persons standing on the roadway when two men approached and opened fire, hitting them.

They were taken to hospital where McKenzie was pronounced dead and the woman admitted in serious condition.
