The three fishermen from Manchioneal in Portland, who went missing at sea two weeks ago, have been rescued by the Honduran Coast Guard.

Herbert Kenton, 47, Anthony Francis, 30 and Okette Smith, 31, were found drifting off the coast of Honduras late yesterday evening.

The fishermen are now with authorities in that country.

According to the Port Antonio Police, the three men left Manchioneal in a 30 feet fiber glass boat at about 7: 30 a.m. on January 11.

They were heading to Albe Trash cays in Morant Bay, but they never return.

The marine police then launched a search, and other local fishermen, but no trace of the men were found.

The police later requested assistance from Hondurans, and during a search of their waters, the men were found drifting.

The fishermen have reported that they encountered engine trouble.

They are expected to be escorted back home between Saturday and Sunday.
