Air Jamaica committee meets today

One of several committees set up last week to monitor the implementation of Air Jamaica’s business plan for 2009 is to meet today.
The Steering Committee, which comprises union representatives, the company’s management and consultants, is to hold its first meeting in another hour.
Vice president of the National Workers Union (NWU) Granville Valentine says the parties will be examining several recommendations which were submitted to the airline’s management last week.
