The Office of the Children’s Advocate (OCA) said while the move by the Broadcasting Commission to remove all daggering songs on the airwaves is commendable, it should also look at other songs.
The OCA said the ban should be extended to include all songs, which promote violence, indecency, profanity and explicit sexual activities.
It adds that the songs are in no way uplifting or empowering but subtlety encourages aggression and violence instead of love and healthy relationships.
